Given the popularity of spring's Vegetarian Thai class, Chef Tara is rolling out a variation that's as sure to please.  Tonight's Northern Thai Vegetarian menu features techniques and dishes that will liven up your summer menus.  Guests will make a vegetarian Chiang Mai curry paste that they'll use to make khao soi (curried noodle soup) with tofu, along with a crisp, summery Asian slaw.  Before they enter the kitchen, they'll enjoy a starter of chef's grilled oyster mushrooms, served with sticky rice, leaf lettuce and a variety of garnishes.  We'll end the evening with a Thai-inspired sweet treat from the urban element kitchen. 

 

Dietary considerations: this menu contains soy and gluten.  The dessert may also contain egg or dairy.
