LIVE - Online Cooking Class with Chef Devin Marhue: Polish Pierogies (Friday, October 9, 6:00-7:30pm)
We thought you might have enough of traditional Thanksgiving flavours to look forward to this weekend so we are kicking off the weekend with a trip to Poland and delicious homemade dumpling making! These pierogies are stuffed with a savoury mixture of mild sausage from our friends at Around the Block Butcher Shop, infused with Tooth + Nail Stout caramelized onions, served up with a side of fennel beets and chive sour cream. Participants will come away from this class with skills that focus on dumpling making, caramelization, roasting and marinating. Vegetarian options are available (Shefu Tofu from Soyaire in Gatineau).
