LIVE - Online Cooking Class with Chef Tara Rajan: ModernIndian Vegetarian (Sunday, October 17, 5:00-6:30pm)

Indian cuisine is known for its fragrant and flavourful dishes, complex in taste and, at times, preparation. Join us as we simplify and modernize traditional Indian cuisine, without sacrificing its authenticity or flavour. Chef Tara Rajan will lead you through making these wonderful vegetarian dishes that can be re-created with ease throughout the colder months.  We will make;

Tamarind-glazed paneer kebabs, fresh mango chutney, basmati pilaf with cashews, and Udupi pan-roasted winter squash.

This vegetarian menu does not contain gluten or soy.  It does contain dairy and nuts.

 

OPTIONAL ADD-ON SIDE & DESSERT, serves 2 w/ 2 servings option ($30); serves 4 w/ 4 servings option ($60)

SIDE: Vegetable curry puffs 

DESSERT: Gulab jamun ( Indian beignets in heavy syrup) with toasted coconut

The add-ons contain gluten and dairy They do not contain soy or nuts

OPTIONAL WINE PAIRING: red or white wine (TBD), $30 per bottle
