The Hakka people of China have a distinct style of cooking with a strong focus on the texture of the food. Because the Hakka often migrated from region to region, the cuisine adopted different exotic flavours, ingredients, and influences along the way. Chef Tara Rajan has chosen a selection of favourite vegetarian Hakka dishes, with Indian style influences, for you to enjoy this evening. We’ll be making:

These dishes contain dairy, soy, sesame but is gluten free.

DESSERT: Shrikand (sweet cardamom yogurt) with fruit
