April 16, 5pm – 7:30 pm @ Corner Peach kitchen
Indian cuisine is known for its fragrant and flavourful dishes, complex in taste and, at times, preparation. Join us as we simplify traditional Indian cuisine for those go-to afterwork meals, without sacrificing its authenticity or flavour. After enjoying an appetizer of spiced potato cakes with tamarind chutney, Chef Tara Rajan will lead participants through making casual dishes that can be re-created with ease: kadhai chicken (chicken simmered in a spiced tomato sauce) served with basmati rice pilaf (prepared by Chef Tara), and masala greens (stir-fried greens with spices. Guests will also make their own garam masala to be used in the class, and extra packaged to take home. We will end the night on a sweet note with a rotating dessert from the Corner Peach kitchen. Please note the cost is per person.
