LIVE - Online Cooking Class with Chef Tara Rajan: Vegetarian Hakka (Sunday, March 13, 5:00-6:30 pm)

India’s street food version of Chinese food!  Because the Hakka often migrated from region to region, the cuisine adopted different exotic flavours, ingredients, and influences along the way.  Chef Tara Rajan has chosen a selection of favourite Hakka dishes, with Indian style influences, for you to enjoy this evening. We will make our own Hakka paste and use it to prepare; 

Hakka noodles with vegetables and egg; we’ll also make eggplant in chili garlic sauce.

This menu contains gluten, egg, and soy.  It does not contain meat, nuts, or dairy

OPTIONAL ADD-ON SIDE & DESSERT, serves 2 w/ 2 servings option ($30); serves 4 w/ 4 servings option ($60)

SIDE: Vegetarian hot and sour soup

DESSERT: UE’s coconut cake with kaffir lime cream

Add-ons contain gluten, egg and soy.  They do not contain meat or nuts.

OPTIONAL WINE PAIRING: red or white wine (TBD), $30 per bottle
