November 26: Asian Street Foods
November 26, 5pm – 7:30 pm @ Corner Peach kitchen
Tonight’s menu features ever-popular street foods and finger foods from southeast Asia. Part of the class will prepare crispy shrimp toasts and steamed vegetarian dumplings with a soy-ginger dipping sauce. Another group of guests will prepare chicken satays with a sweet chili sauce, and spicy roast eggplant with tofu. We’ll serve these treats with chef Tara’s fried jasmine rice with herbs. On arrival, guests will enjoy chef Tara’s vegetarian momos (dumplings). We will end the night on a sweet note with a rotating dessert from the Corner Peach kitchen. Dietary considerations: this menu contains shellfish, soy and gluten. The dessert may contain egg, gluten and dairy.
