LIVE - Online Cooking Class with Chef Tara Rajan: Sri Lankan Vegetarian (Sunday, October 24, 5:00-6:30pm)

The beautiful spice island of Sri Lanka is a rich melting pot of cuisines, with South Indian, Indonesian, and Dutch influences, and an abundance of fresh produce and exotic spices that combine to create distinctly unique flavours. Join Chef Tara, as she guides us through a vibrant and welcoming vegetarian menu featuring the pillars of Sri Lankan cuisine: rice, coconut, and spices, which are sure to warm up the kitchen as well as our tummies. We’ll make:

Creamy cashew curry with spiced red rice and stir-fried beets with coconut

This vegetarian and vegan menu contains menu nuts.  It does not contain gluten, soy, or dairy.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON SIDE & DESSERT, serves 2 w/ 2 servings option ($30); serves 4 w/ 4 servings option ($60)

SIDE: Vegetable rolls with onion chutney

DESSERT: Mango ice cream
