Our Asian Street food classes are always popular, and for good reasons: we discover exotic ingredients like kecap manis, baby eggplants, tamarind, and shrimp paste, and work with them to craft delicious, accessible dishes with authentic Asian flavours. Tonight’s Indonesian Street food class will check all those boxes.  Chef Tara will serve her spicy cucumber sesame salad to start the evening, and guests will then prepare a chili paste (sambal) that they will use in fried rice with shrimp (nasi goreng), and eggplant sambal.  For dessert, we’ll serve an Asian-influenced Urban Element sweet treat. Dietary considerations: this menu contains shrimp, peanuts, egg, soy and gluten. The dessert may contain dairy, egg and gluten.
