This class will feature simple but delicious authentic Indian dishes from the northern part of the subcontinent.  Guests will enjoy chef’s plantain cakes with tamarind chutney to start, go on to make tamarind chickpeas with greens (chole palak), roasted sweet potatoes with fenugreek, and a quick carrot-cumin raita. We’ll serve this with Chef Tara’s millet-vegetable pilaf.  Chef Tara will serve her creamy coconut rice pudding (kheer) as a sweet treat to end the evening.
