Morocco is famous for vibrant flavours combined in unique savoury and sweet dishes. The country’s culinary repertoire features nuts, fruits and spices that we’ll explore tonight with Chef Tara’s guidance. Upon arrival participants will nosh on Chef’s hearty harira (chickpea, lentil and tomato soup), and then try their hand at making a festive Moroccan classic, pastilla (chicken and almond phyllo pie).  We’ll also prepare a sweet tomato jam to accompany the pastilla, and an orange-carrot salad with cured olives.  We will end the night on a sweet note with a rotating dessert from the urban element kitchen.  Dietary considerations: tonight’s menu contains dairy, gluten, egg, and nuts, which may also be included in the dessert.
