October 5, 5:00pm ~ 7:30pm @ Corner Peach kitchen
Join Chef Tara Rajan for an evening that transports your palate to the sun-warmed shores of coastal Turkey — with the vibrant bounty of fall produce as our muse. This hands-on class invites you to explore the depth, spice, and comfort woven into Turkish home cooking. You’ll prepare alinazik — tender grilled beef and lamb koftas nestled on a smoky, velvety eggplant purée — alongside a bright and tangy bulgur salad dressed with pomegranate molasses vinaigrette. Warm, fragrant yogurt flatbreads with garlic and herbs will emerge from the griddle to accompany the meal, while the evening begins with Chef Tara’s soulful mercimek çorbası, a classic red lentil soup. The meal will close with a dessert from the UE kitchen that continues the Mediterranean theme, offering a sweet finish to an abundant table. This menu contains gluten and dairy; dessert may also contain egg or nuts. Come ready to roll up your sleeves, stir, grill, and taste — and leave with recipes, techniques, and a little taste of Turkey to share at your own table.
