Step into the spirit of the season with Pastry Chef Félix Larocque in this festive hands-on baking class — one of Urban Element’s most beloved holiday traditions and most anticipated of seasonal workshops.

Spend a festive day creating an array of elegant, gift-worthy treats that celebrate the flavours and aromas of the season! Bakers will perfect yule log cookies, chewy white chocolate cranberry biscotti, and peppermint crinkle cookies in snowy sugar.

Chef Félix will walk participants through classic sugar cookie and spiced gingerbread cookie making, then decorate these classics with royal icing, experimenting with piping, swirling, and festive designs. You’ll leave with a festive box of cookies and the confidence to recreate the recipes just in time for gifting, entertaining, or, simply, enjoying by the fire.

A mid-workshop break will include freshly baked scones with house made jam, Seed-to-Sausage ham, assorted cheese, coffee (with Baileys!), mulled wine and tea. Guests will bring home 2 dozen of each 5 types of cookies of the self-made, demonstrated and/or prepped items (120 pieces).
