It’s no surprise that Thai food is a perennial favourite in Ottawa (and beyond). The spicy, tart, sweet, herbaceous notes of Thai curries hit all the right flavour notes. Tonight, we’ll discover the secrets of Thai green curry, making our own curry paste that will form the base of a green curry chicken soup with sticky rice (we’ll also make the stock). We’ll also prepare a sweet, spicy pineapple and cucumber salad. To start the evening, Chef Tara will serve her lemongrass pork patties with a sweet chili dipping sauce. We’ll finish with a dessert by Chef Tara that follows the evening’s southeast Asian theme.
