Craving exotic flavours to beat the winter doldrums? We’ve got the answer: a Turkish meze platter laden with snacks and appetizers that make a meal. Guests will start with Chef Tara’s chickpea soup and then enter the prep kitchen to make a variety of traditional, scrumptious Turkish bites, salads and dips, including red lentil koftas with a pomegranate molasses drizzle, pine nut and rice-stuffed Swiss chard leaves, smoky eggplant salad, cheese-stuffed borek rolls, herbed red onion and sumac salad, and a cacik (cucumber-yogurt dip). We’ll serve these treats with Chef Tara’s handmade Turkish bread. For a sweet ending to the meal, guests will enjoy Chef Tara’s sweet, crispy phyllo milk pie.
