Drawing on the rich flavours of lamb, olive oil, and lemon — the hallmarks of the Greek kitchen — this hands-on class blends hearty tradition with the simple beauty of Mediterranean ingredients. You’ll prepare pastitsio, Greece’s answer to comfort food — a layered pasta casserole with braised minced lamb, a touch of spice, and a luxuriously creamy béchamel topping. Alongside, we’ll create Swiss chard with olive oil and lemon, a bright and nourishing side that balances the richness of the main dish. The evening begins with Chef Tara’s avgolemono, a classic Greek soup of egg, rice, and lemon that’s as restorative as it is flavourful. A dessert from the UE kitchen will round out the meal — a sweet finish to this Greek-inspired table. Contains dairy, wine, gluten, and egg; dessert may also contain nuts.
