Tonight’s menu features ever-popular street foods and finger foods from southeast Asia. Part of the class will prepare pork satays with a chili-lime dipping sauce, and a mixed vegetable salad with a tamarind vinaigrette. Another group of guests will prepare curried chicken satays with a pineapple chutney, and a sweet, spicy cucumber-pineapple salad. We’ll serve these treats with chef Tara’s fried jasmine rice with herbs.
On arrival, guests will enjoy chef’s crispy vegetable dumplings with spicy sesame dipping sauce. We will end the night on a sweet note with one of chef’s traditional southeast Asian desserts.
