3 Ways to Make Your Company’s Anniversary Party Unforgettable

Planning an anniversary party for your business can be overwhelming—even if you plan events for a living, like we do! Since we recently hosted our 20th anniversary party, we thought we’d share three things that worked for us. No matter your industry, these tips will help you host an interactive, fun, and memorable anniversary event.

TELL YOUR STORY THROUGH FOOD

A custom menu can tell your brand story, whether you’re in the catering industry or not. Our chefs designed a menu that spoke to our company values and highlighted local, seasonal fare.

One dish in particular that told a story was served at our Innovation + Evolution food station. Our chefs evolved a dish our first resident chef created, offering guests a 2025 version. The original dish, a roasted venison rack with potato gnocchi and roasted tomato ragout, was transformed into an Osso Buco cut of venison, cooked sous vide, and served with Gnocchi Parisienne. ENGAGE YOUR GUESTS CREATIVELY

We’re all familiar with the art of mingling while eating and drinking, but a party is always more fun when there’s an immersive activity to do!

At our Learning Kitchen food station, we engaged our guests by allowing them to fill and fold their own wonton dumplings. Our Sous Chef demonstrated the technique, guests tried their hand at a new culinary skill, and then enjoyed their dumplings, which were fried à la minute and served with a duo of dipping sauces. Recipe cards were provided for guests to take home.

ASK EXPERTS FOR HELP

You don’t have to do everything yourself. You likely have a great community of businesses and entrepreneurs in your network—hire them! We engaged with a professional event planner to coordinate aspects of our event that we didn’t have time to arrange during the busy season. These elevated touches brought the last of the event details together seamlessly, including custom signage, printed menus, branded cocktail napkins, DJ services, wall art, and a custom take-home gift for guests.
